FAQs

Chicken tenders are the soft, tender pieces of meat located under the chicken breast. Chicken strips, on the other hand, are usually made by cutting up the chicken breast into strips. Both are delicious, but tenders are naturally juicier and more tender.

It’s easy! Take a chicken breast and slice it lengthwise into even pieces, about 4-5 strips per breast. Try to keep them the same size so they cook evenly.

Yes, McDonald’s used to have chicken strips on their menu, but they were called “Buttermilk Crispy Tenders.” Availability may depend on the location or current menu.

If your chicken strips aren’t crispy, here are a few common reasons:
Not enough coating: Make sure the chicken is fully coated.
Too much moisture: Pat the chicken dry before coating it.
Low oven temperature: Bake at the right heat (375°F or higher).
Crowding on the tray: Leave space between strips for proper airflow.
